About Women's Ministry

The purpose of WIC is that every woman know Christ personally and be committed to extending His kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and throughout the world. WIC offers prayer chain, Bible studies, and various service opportunities throughout the life of the church.

Other Ways To Serve

There are several ways to serve inside and outside the church.

Take a turn about every 3 months dusting the foyer and sanctuary, checking pews and friendship roles, and making sure the restrooms and kitchen are in order for Sunday activities.

take a turn about every 3 months standing in the foyer between Sunday School and Morning Worship greeting visitors as they come in.

willing, loving ladies, young and old alike give bottles, change diapers, rock, and keep our children safe Sunday morning and evening, Tuesday and Thursday mornings and Wednesday night.

Prayer Chain volunteers pray for specific needs and ministries of our church family as well as for people in the community who ask for prayer. The weekly Prayer Chain list is put together on Wednesday mornings. Most members participate by e-mail. All prayer requests are confidential.

Committees of ladies prepare and deliver meals for members of our congregation who are sick, have a baby, or have a death in the family.

Volunteers set tables with cloths and silverware, put ice in glasses, hand out drinks, and clean up the kitchen afterwards.

Committee members decorate the Sanctuary and foyers of the church for Sunday morning worship and all church-sponsored special suppers, receptions, etc. Helpers assist with multiple arrangements that are needed for Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Banquet, and special suppers. This is a great way to learn flower arranging.

Committee members help welcome new members into the congregation and make them feel a part of the church family. This is a new committee, and we welcome volunteers.

Volunteers provide refreshments for youth fellowship after Sunday Evening Worship.

volunteer to host or co-host baby showers for babies born to Covenant mothers.
